Without much effort, Bayern Munich won another victory over Lazio and advanced to the quarter-finals of the Champions League. This Wednesday (17/3), at the Allianz Arena, in Munich, the triumph was by 2 x 1, more modest than the 4 x 1 of the trip, in Rome. The current European champions sealed the classification with the aggregate score of 6 x 2, still undefeated in the current edition of the competition.

Despite the wide advantage in the confrontation, Bayern took the game seriously. So much that it spared no holders. Only goalkeeper Neuer was out for physical reasons. With the ball rolling, the German team calmly dominated the warm first half, with the best (and few) goal chances.

The scoreboard was opened in the 32nd minute with Lewandowski, Choupo-Moting scored the second goal in the 27th minute of the second half and Andreas Pereira scored the goal of honor for Lazio in the 36th minute also in the second half. Now Bayern are waiting for the draw on Friday, when the crosses of the quarterfinals and the switching of the semifinals of the Champions League will be known.
