Bayern Munich agreed with Barcelona to extend the loan of Brazilian midfielder Philippe Coutinho for another two months. In addition to Coutinho, striker Perisic and full-back Odriozola also extended their contracts, which ended last Tuesday, June 30. Thus, the trio will be available to compete in the final phase of the Champions League, which will be played in Lisbon in August.

In addition to renewing with players, Bayern announced the signing of young defender Tanguy Kouassi, 18. Formed on the basis of PSG, the defender preferred to sign his first professional contract with the Munich team instead of with the Parisian team, for which he played in 13 matches in the 2019/2020 season.

With a contract until 2024, the defender was excited about the possibility of playing for Bayern: “I am very happy to be able to play for Bayern. It is a big and traditional club. I hope I can win here. I will work hard for that.” Bayern sporting director Hassan Salihamidzic also stated that “We are confident that you will have a great career in Munich”
